The major challenge for LGBT people in the workplace While progress has been made with the legalization of same-sex marriages in some countries, many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people fear that revealing their sexuality or sexual orientation at the workplace will have negative consequences. Yes, Wellesley students are driven and yes, they are incredibly competitive, which seems to have been enhanced by the grade deflation policy. I went to a theater school which was openly gay and anything but conservative.
And, of course, just as in the world, not everyone not even a majority at W is gay. BTW, everyone on those cruises aren't gay, either. Many allies take cruises with their family and friends.

All the women's colleges draw for that demographic, not a surprise. You want to meet women, go to a women's college, like Jesse James when asked, why rob banks? Because that's where the money is.

We all read them together because they are usually so nice and very professional. But then I thought — what if this is a norm for this school?

From my experience, Wellesley's not "extra-gay" or "super-gay" or anything like that. People sometimes make jokes about how we all must be gay since we chose a women's college, but that's really not the case.
