Getting into a relationship with/hooking up with someone you generally dont care about much simply because you have recently broken up with someone and you are in A rebound is someone who you date/go out with to keep yourself busy and you use him/her to keep your mind off your ex who you still have feelings for. That being said, perhaps you and your ex are part of the same friend circle, you have class with him or her or you just run into him or her a lot. After Caroline and her next boyfriend of three years broke up over Christmas, she came back to school “wanting to hook up with everyone. *Names have been changed. i don't know. i guess it would be weird at first but over time obviously hopefully you'll see the two people r not the same so it just becomes a name. but i could see if having a conversation with people about the two interchangeably and having the same name could cause some annoyance (on my part) but.

I have in fact dated something like 5 different people named "mike" in my dating career. There was never any problem. Thank-You for your reply! It appears it is possible. My bestfriend keeps telling me we need a nickname for him to lessen the weirdness.
For now I call him new, and my ex old "carl" haha. My ex and my current bf have the same name but it means absolutely nothing to me in regards that they are completely different people.
